# How To Create Groups For Contacts

Before creating any SMS or WhatsApp campaign, you need to have or create a contact group. Especially if you want to send a campaign to lots of receivers.

To create contact groups, click on the Contacts menu and go to the Groups option. Then, click the Add Group button.

Then, name the group as you want. The group name will be your reference. Then, click submit button.

Then, you will see your listed groups with some details.

* **Group ID**: This ID will be the reference ID for any campaign or for setting related to the Wasapmatic system.
* **Options:** You can edit or delete your group anytime.&#x20;
