# How To Get Grok AI API Key

Grok AI is another Artificial Intelligence (AI) developed by xAI and integrated with the platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Grok has usually been used in platform X.

To use the Grok AI API, you need to have an xAI account. Go to <https://accounts.x.ai/sign-in?redirect=cloud-console>

Before you can use the API, you need to have credits in your account. You need to purchase credits (minimum $5). Go to the billing section to purchase the credits.

To create the API key, go to the API Key section and click the **Create API Key** button.&#x20;

Create a name for your API key and enable some features (by default). Then, save the settings.

Then, you will get your API key. Copy the API key to use it in the Wasapmatic settings.
