# How To Upload Contacts With Excel File

Another method to upload contact (database) is by importing the Excel file. This method is suitable for those who have a lot of contacts that need to be uploaded quickly.

But, make sure you already created a Contact Group and know your **Group ID (important!)** before using this method. (see [How To Create Groups](/contacts/how-to-create-groups-for-contacts.md))
